Relearning and reinterpreting the Cello Suites, she realized that there is always something new to be found within their notes and melodies, as if they possess a life of their own.

Gill Tennant is a lifelong cellist, educator, arranger, and storyteller based in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. Her work blends musical heritage with narrative imagination, drawing on decades of experience teaching cello and arranging traditional songs from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
